Selection Criteria

Acacia College is an open entry school. We welcome students from all faiths and cultural backgrounds. As a co-educational school, we endeavour to seek a balance of boys and girls in enrolments.

In assessing an individual student’s application for enrolment, we must first determine that we are able to meet their needs. The College will make every effort to meet any special educational needs within the constraints of its financial capacity and on condition that the child’s parents have fully informed the College of any relevant circumstances relating to their child's educational needs.

A number of other factors are taken into consideration when selecting students for enrolment. These include (but are not limited to):

• Date that the Application for Enrolment form is received at the College
• Current enrolment of one or more siblings

The most significant factor continues to be the date of application for enrolment.
