| Biography |
Cynthia comes to us with extensive experience working with children and adults, initially as a swimming instructor. During this time she provided for the needs of all, including those with disabilities and/or social and emotional concerns. Her sensitivity and insight to the needs of those requiring special care was obvious with very gratifying levels of success in the program.
Cynthia has also been a Literacy Aide at St Mary’s Catholic Primary School over the last five years and was passionate about assisting the development of children to build a strong platform for their future growth and development. She was extremely proud to observe the progress the children had made, finding any support she was able to provide which built their confidence and competence, very gratifying.
Cynthia’s other passion is her family. She is married to Wayne with two beautiful children - Julia and Benjamin. They have travelled extensively throughout Australia as a family, experiencing the wonders and adventure of our wide land. She has also spent 14 months travelling throughout South America, Europe and Africa in her early adulthood, giving her a deep appreciation of life and its challenges in a global and local context.
Cynthia loves gardening, fun camping trips and the animals on her property and is excited about supporting the needs of our students at Acacia College as the School builds and expands from 2010 and beyond.
